Rodney Thomas

CEO/ Owner

Rodney Thomas was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and dreamed of being a train engineer. His love of travel and adventure lead him to a lot of interesting places in his life including Okinawa, Japan when he was in the military. He still hopes to travel overseas and see more beautiful countries. He has a passion for equality and after leaving the military everything he did was with that goal in mind. Rodney earned his Associate of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and his Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the University of Louisville, Kentucky. While at the University to Kentucky he was the vice president of his physical therapy class and the first black man to graduate from the program. He took his dedication to equality to a new level as a student of the University of Louisville, Kentucky by becoming the president and originator of the Minority Student Union and helped extend the Black Student Union. Rodney also extended his education to include a Certification in fall prevention, vestibular rehabilitation, caregiver training, and geriatric health and rehabilitation. He is also an active member of the NAACP and the American Physical Therapy Association. Due to neurological injuries stemming from a car accident, Rodney understands the challenges faced when a person needs a caregiver for some, if not all, of their daily activities. Instead of allowing limits to set the course of his personal and professional course, Rodney chose to assist others who need assistance.
